Standing for Justice, Progressives, Oakmont Democratic Club, PerSisters, and Sister District are joining forces this election year to get the job done. Standing for Justice will host the meeting on Thursday, February 22, in the East Rec Center (7902 Oakmont Drive, Santa Rosa) 6:30 p.m. socializing, 7:00 p.m. program. Bring some finger food and beverages to share.

There are votes to be cast that will not appear on the November ballot, so people need to vote now for some important people and issues. 

We’ll hear in-person from the following candidates and discuss ballot measures:

  • Rebecca Hermosillo, running to fill Susan Gorin’s seat on the BOS
  • Omar Figueroa, superior court judge, running against Ken English
  • Ken English, superior court judge, running against Omar Figueroa
  • Kristine Burk, superior court judge, running against Beki Berrey
  • Beki Berrey, superior court judge, running against Kristine Burk
  • Measure G, Rincon Valley School Measure
  • Measure H, Firefighters
  • Prop 1, expansion of mental health and addiction services
